Swiss Silver
Swiss Silver can be provided in both Type A and Type B:
Type A
For all metals, including copper and brass. It can also be used on plastics.
Type B
Contains an additive that increases tool life performance on ferrous metals and tough alloys, but can tarnish brass or copper unless parts are cleaned immediately.
Uses:
Swiss Silver is a premium mineral oil cutting fluid designed for use in Swiss-style and other precision CNC turning machines. It’s a bright and clear oil that produces maximum production, tool visibility, and operator acceptance. Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, Swiss Silver out-performs previously recommended Swiss-style CNC oils. In long-term usage, it increases tool life and production speeds. The low viscosity, coupled with a premium additive package, provides optimum performance on micro parts machining as well as large stock removal operations. With maximum penetration, lubrication, and heat dissipation, it is the premier choice for medical industry parts.
Safe:
The higher flash point of Swiss Silver provides maximum safety. This fluid will not cause operator skin irritations and is non-hazardous.
Properties:
Swiss Silver is a light amber, bright, clear, and low viscosity mineral-base oil. The unique formulation of this product results in a low-foam, low-smoke fluid that is cleaner than standard oils used in Swiss-style CNC turning machines. Since it is a clear liquid, it provides optimum visibility for the machine operator.
